With incomparable views over the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel houses a unique restaurant, El Sitio, exquisite in its content and its gastronomic offer, where unique and innovative flavours, intoxicating aromas and subtle nuances come together in a cuisine that combines centuries-old local gastronomy with rich and elaborate international influences, being inspired by those influences of the sea migrations that have touched our island so much.
Every day, lunches and dinners are warm moments of encounter in this restaurant which, with its bar-cafeteria, is becoming from half past seven in the morning until late at night, and by its own merits, a meeting point of the local society with our distinguished guests.
Opened in 2012, and headed by the renowned chef José Alberto Díaz, our gourmet restaurant of Canarian haute cuisine welcomes each season with a renewed menu with new and original dishes prepared as always with fresh products from our land and always thinking of maritime transport and influences from other times. A selection of haute cuisine vegetarian dishes that perfectly complement the menu.
The wine list, with more than 50 very well chosen international references of all kinds, has an excellent representation of wines from the Canary Islands, with an emphasis on Palm Island productions, including the references of a small winery directly linked to the hotel, whose delicate wines are sold exclusively in our restaurants El Sitio and La Salita. Among them is the Clarissimus, a red wine in which the black baboso grape marks the personality of a very special wine.
El Sitio defends a cuisine of proximity that gives priority to the products of the island of La Palma, as well as the rest of the territories of the Canary archipelago. Located in the best historic hotel in Europe, El Sitio, which has been awarded a Sol Repsol since 2019, works daily to be the main gastronomic reference of the beautiful island.
